Is the basic part of any car mounted directly on the engine and it converts the engine's combustion power to momentum which drives the wheels. In a car with manual transmission, the clutch will bridge the engine and transmission, so gears can be changed when the clutch pedal is pressed. It is the part of the car that connects to the back of the engine offering power from the engine to the wheels. The transmission uses the power created in the engine to keep the wheels spinning and keep the engine within a certain revolution per minute range.

In cars and trucks, the transmission system is a machine that controls the distribution of power generated by its internal combustion engine. As the engine transmits power to the pump of the torque converter, the pump converts this power into transmission fluid that powers the turbine of the torque converter. When the engine is not running, the transmission does not have the oil pressure needed to operate and thus the vehicle cannot be push-started. The transmission uses a flywheel, pressure plate and clutch to engage and disengage the engine from the transmission. The flywheel and pressure plate are connected to the engine. The clutch is sandwiched between them and is splinted to the transmission input shaft.

Transmission problems can cause the check engine light to come on as well, however it's not always as apparent as other components within the vehicle. This can result in a lack of engine power, or the transmission will not respond because there is a problem with it. Yet, there are many other reasons that cause trouble when shifting gears when the catalytic converter/exhaust is clogged, the engine may experience a back-pressure problem, making it difficult for the transmission to change gears or there might be low transmission fluid combined with sluggish feeling and hard shifts. There are 4 Types of Car Transmissions - Manual transmission, Automatic transmission, Continuously variable transmission (CVT) and Semi-automatic and dual-clutch transmissions.

GEARBOX is a transmission device that is used between engine's output shaft and the final drive in order to provide required torque and power to the wheels of the vehicle having 5 or 6 speed ratios/gears and a reverse gear. The gearbox is just as important a part of the vehicle power train as the engine. It therefore transmits the engine torque to the wheels and also provides various transmission ratios to enable the speed of the engine to be adapted to different driving situations. Gearbox is an enclosed gear train and transmission is the act of transmitting power to the train of gears to increase or reduce speed. As a result, torque output will be the inverse of the speed function.

WE provide COMPLETE HELP WHEN Your Gearbox is Failing showing Dashboard Warning Lights/Engine lights ignite on the dashboard for a reason; Leaking Fluid & Low Levels which is possibly the easiest symptom to spot; Smells and Odours; Audible Noises, Out of the Ordinary Behaviour; Burning smell; Failure to engage gear and when Your gearbox 'feels' different. WE will also help you in determining the right type of fluid for your transmission. WE do TAKE CARE of TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS very carefully which happens on account of slipping, grinding, or jumping during acceleration when the car is shifting gears, car shaking at any speed, transmission fluid on dipstick is cloudy, thick or foul smelling and manual transmission gear shifting is physically hard to move or won't go into gear. In short, we satisfactorily deal with all kinds of transmission and gear related services, problems, queries & remedies.
